Together with our local Partner ASVOTEC, VCL has completed recently a successful site service at PETROBRAS refinery in Pernambuco (Brazil).
Considering the difficult pandemic frame conditions as well as the regular challenges of a “in-time” turnaround, VCL and Asvotec have completed an overhaul of decoking system (6 units) within a 2 month stoppage.
The team of approx. 30 blueshirts, under the technical lead of the VCL site manager, have been responsible for the complete overhaul of 6 bottom and 6 top decoking valves. All valves have been dismantled, cleaned and wear components have been replaced.
Unforeseen problems have been tackled and solved considering highest H&S standards as well as specific pandemic rules.
